Paula D. Deckman, CPA, is a partner in the firm's tax department. Her expertise encompasses entity representation, not-for-profit organizations, estate planning, manufacturing, wholesale suppliers, service companies and retail. She is instrumental in communication and negotiation with the IRS and state tax authorities.

A member of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), she has served as the Syracuse chapter Annual Tax Conference chairperson and as presenter on topics for Tax Exempt Entities. Her other affiliations include the IRS Practitioner Liaison Committee and PFP Section Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Ms. Deckman is a licensed life, accident and health agent and holds Series 6 and 63 securities certification in New York State. She is president of the Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre, past president of the Updowntowners of Syracuse and past treasurer of the Syracuse City School District Educational Foundation. She is a recipient of the Central New York Women in Business Award.

Ms. Deckman is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.S. in Accounting.
