James S. Ashe, CPA, CVA is a partner with the firm. Mr. Ashe practices in taxation and consulting services, focused on closely-held business and individual tax planning, tax compliance, business valuations, personal and business financial planning, estate and retirement planning.

Mr. Ashe's specialized areas of practice include owner and business succession planning, corporate and other entity reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, cost segregation studies, state & local taxes and incentives, research and development tax credit studies, and client representation with taxing authorities.

Mr. Ashe has extensive industry experience in automotive and equipment dealerships, construction, manufacturing, retail/wholesale distribution, transportation, medical practices, service industries and real estate developers and lessors.

He is a member of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), a Tax Section member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a Personal Financial Planning member of the AICPA, a Forensic and Valuation Services Center member of the AICPA, a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

Mr. Ashe graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
